Claire Molloy is a cinematographer and filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY.
Her work has appeared on Scripps News, The New York Times, Vice and Insider among others. Most recently she was a full-time DP on the documentary series In Real Life from Scripps News. She worked 6 seasons on the Emmy award winning show. An episode she reported, produced and DP’d, Attacked Behind The Wheel, won a Gracie award from the Alliance For Women in Media for Best Investigative Feature.
She holds a Master's from Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY where she received an Overseas Press Club Scholarship for her international reporting. Prior to being a cinematographer, Claire worked several years as an editor and assistant editor, honing in her skills as a storyteller. She has (HEFAT) Hostile Environment First Aid Training and a Part 107 FAA drone license.
